• Does anyone know a song called "Alabei," "alabai" or similar spelling?

I have it on a tape (1 male and at least 2 female singers), but have no other information.

Maybe it's "allevay' which in Yiddish means "Hopefully"
Can you understand any of the lyrics? if so please post them.
If you have the record, do you have the name of the performers?
