It is with great pleasure we inform you we have just named Nomi Levy,
the well known international community activist and librarian as our
"World Coordinator for Zamlers and Arekojedores"
Under her guidance and given her extensive worldwide contact network we
expect to invigorated even more our efforts to find and bring to San
Diego as much Jewish music as we can locate.
Given her special closeness to Sephardic music we expect that, under her
leadership, our Ladino collection will receive the special attention it
deserves.
In addition, Mrs. Levi's extensive knowledge and practice in library
cataloging will certainly help us organize our own catalog which is now
reaching 8500 records collected from all over the world through our
existing, but still small, network of "Zamlers".
If you want to join Nomi's network of "Zamlers" and Arekojedores email
her at findthemusic@savethemusic.com
If you have old Jewish records you would like to send to us please send
